






CASSY CRAWFORD: Laurel Casillo is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College earning her Bachelors degree in Theatre Performance. She also studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in the two year Meisner program. Her most recent credits include; Stage- Nanny in What a Life (Center Stage, NY), Liz in Cordially Invited and Christie, Nanny, Jenny, Ensemble in Don’t Step on the Cracks (Woodstock Fringe Festival), Carol in Black Comedy (Shadowland Theatre), Rose Weiss in A Shayna Maidel (Chenango River Theatre), Television- Nurse Jackie, 30 Rock, Films- Cassie in Evil Things, Julie in What We Do, Lara in Shifting. Laurel is a proud founding member of Five Flights Theater Company.
MARK SCHAEFER: Morgan Hooper is originally from Patchogue, Long Island. He earned his B.F.A. in Acting from C.W. Post of Long Island University. He has performed in the Czech Republic, Italy and the New York area. Credits include: Third Child (New York Fringe, Prague Fringe); Richard II (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, The Tempest (All Long Island Shakespeare Festival). Other talents include Kendo (Japanese Swordsmanship-3rd Degree, 9 years), Stage Combat - Hand to Hand, Rapier, Rapier and Dagger, Double Rapier, Broadsword, Quarterstaff.
TANYA KOCHEN: Torrey Weiss is currently a student at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York. Before New York, she lived in Port Townsend, a small arts community in western Washington state, where she played in several local stage productions--Hermia in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Midsummer Night's Dream; Jenn in the Distance From Here; Vivie in Mrs. Warren's Profession; Marianne in Tartuffe; Juliet in Romeo and Juliet; and Rachel Corrie in My Name is Rachel Corrie. Torrey also plays the title role in Throw Me The Statue's music video for "Lolita." In her off time she can usually be found pining for her beloved English bulldog, Emily, and her two cats, Peter and Rufus who are all back home in Washington.
LEO PUGLIESE: Ryan Maslyn is originally from Bath, in upstate New York. He is currently a full time student at Hunter College in New York City. Ryan attended one year at SUNY Oswego before making his way down to the big city to pursue a career in acting. While in New York, Ryan appeared in two NYU films, performed Stand up comedy, and is currently attending acting classes at TVI Actors studio. Ryan has also performed in several comedy web skits with his production company, HouseBar Productions. Evil Things provided Ryan with an opportunity to both shoot and act in his very first feature film. He can’t wait to see the world’s collective jaw drop in suspense when they get a load of his acting and camerawork.
MIRIAM DEARING: Elyssa Mersdorf is a graduate of the New York campus of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Originally from Bay City, Michigan, Elyssa moved to New York to pursue a career in acting right after high school. While at AADA, Elyssa performed in several productions including The Learned Ladies, Ladies at the Alamo, and Dear Friends. Since graduating, she has done three student short films at NYU, voice over work at Pratt University, and performed in a showcase at the Gene Frankel Theater. In addition to her acting career, Elyssa enjoys teaching theatre, dance, and art in an after school program in Manhattan. Evil Things is Elyssa's first feature-length film and she is very excited and proud of it.
